Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is starting its golden (50 year) anniversary off with double headliners this New Year's Eve. Internationally-acclaimed impressionist, André-Philippe Gagnon, and the most successful recording duo from Hawaii, Cecilio and Kapono, will close out 2010 at Hilton Hawaiian Village's New Year's Eve Party with the Stars.

Doors to the Coral Ballroom will open at 9:00 p.m.; Gagnon will take the stage at 9:15 p.m., followed by Cecilio & Kapono from 10:30 p.m. through the start of 2011. The cost of the New Year's Eve concert is $100 for premier seating and $75 for general seating. The price includes a half bottle of champagne and party favors. Tickets are on sale in the hotel's main lobby.

Hilton Hawaiian Village is offering four options for pre-concert dining: Bali Steak & Seafood and Tropics Bar & Grill will offer special holiday prix fixe menus; Rainbow Lanai will feature a lavish New Year's Eve dinner buffet and the Waikiki Starlight Luau will offer a uniquely Hawaiian holiday menu followed by its exciting Voyage Across the South Seas revue.

Andre Philippe Gagnon

Since the international Just for Laugh's Festival in 1985, and his subsequent appearance with Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, Andre Philippe Gagnon has become one of Canada's most renowned artists. Gagnon's show is a spellbinding cross between comedy act and concert with a cast of hundreds. From Mick Jagger to Louis Armstrong to Fred Flintstone, his impressions of famous personalities are rapid-fire magic. Gagnon has appeared in sold-out concerts across Europe, the U.S., Australia and the Caribbean. His most famous number is a virtuoso performance of all 18 voices in the legendary famine relief song, "We Are the World," which has become Gagnon's classic since he first sang it on TV for the song's co-writer and composer, Lionel Richie.

Cecilio & Kapono

Cecilio & Kapono are considered Hawaii's most successful singing duo. In the 1970s, Cecilio & Kapono recorded three albums with Columbia Records: Cecilio & Kapono, Elua and The Nightmusic, all of which became top-selling albums. Their third album alone garnered five of the prestigious Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. Since then, they have maintained their place as Hawaii's most beloved composers and entertainers. Individually, Cecilio Rodriguez and Henry Kapono perform at the Hilton Hawaiian Village weekly. Rodriguez plays at the Tropics Bar & Grill on Thursdays and Fridays, while Kapono has starred in "The Wild Hawaiian Experience" at the resort's Super Pool Saturday evenings. New Year's Eve brings their harmonious voices together once again at the resort.

Party at Twenty Eleven Lounge & Nightclub

The resort is also hosting a party at Twenty Eleven Lounge & Nightclub at Paradise Lounge in the Rainbow Tower. Top island band, Beach 5, will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight and a DJ will be spinning throughout the night. Ten different champagnes will be available by the glass, along with a full bar and dancing all evening long. The cover charge of $25 for Lounge Twenty Eleven will be waived for anyone dining at Bali Steak & Seafood, Tropics Bar & Grill and Rainbow Lanai on New Year's Eve. Reserved VIP tables for up to six guests will be available at the lounge for an additional fee.

Friday Night Fireworks

Hilton's signature Friday night fireworks will light up the sky one hour later at 8:45 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The spectacular display will not only celebrate the start of 2011, but the start of Hilton's 50th anniversary in Hawaii. A full year of festivities is planned at Hilton Hawaiian Village to commemorate the rebranding of the resort in 1961.
