USS Arizona Memorial
December 7, 2011 will mark the 70th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent entry of the United States into World War II.

So these surviving military personnel were 8 or 9 years old at the time?
Doug-
Someone who is in their late 80s would have been 18 or 19 at the time, not 8 or 9. 70 yrs ago + 18 yrs old at the time= 88 yrs old now.
