Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it's time to direct our full attention to Christmas 2011. While Christmas is celebrated on all of the Hawaiian Island, there is no island that has so many Christmas events as the island of Oahu and nowhere in the USA is Christmas celebrated in such a unique way.
While much of the country dreams of a white Christmas with Santa bringing presents on his sleigh on Christmas Eve, in Hawaii, Santa often arrives on a surfboard or outrigger canoe. You can also forget the cold weather found in many areas of the mainland. On Oahu, you may find Santa in short pants!
