Molokai markets itself today as Hawaii's "Most Natural Island." In the past it has been "The Friendly Island" and "The Most Hawaiian Island.

The new slogan speaks a lot to the type of visitor that the island is seeking. A haven for outdoor explorers, eco-seekers, and ocean adventurers, Molokai has little traffic and no traffic lights. On this special island folks go along at a very different pace. Many work the land, others harvest the bounty of the sea.

Visitors can choose to hike through lush, magnificent valleys, ride horseback along gorgeous coastlines, mountain bike over soaring sea cliffs or kayak miles of pristine barrier reefs. We hope you enjoy our

Molokai is Hawaii as it used to be.

Unspoiled beaches, open countryside, birds, wildlife and no timeshare salespeople, buses, sirens or high rises.

Beautiful!

Molokai is a great place for a getaway. Be aware though because it is not for everybody. There is virtually no night life and there are not too many great beaches to hang out at. However, fishing and diving are pretty good here. Plus be aware that in order to get to Molokai, you will need to get Hawaii interisland flights on either Island Air, Mokulele or Pacific Wings. Some of these carriers use pretty small single engine turbo prop planes and some may not be so comfortable traveling this way.

Great place to get away from everything, clear your head and relax! Old Hawaii, the way it used to be.
