I don't know about you, but I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving will be just a week from today. As is the case this year, November 22 is the earliest date that Thanksgiving can occur, since it always has to be on the fourth Thursday in November.

I'm sure that the nation's retail stores love that there will be 33 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, but it also means that there's a nice long time-frame for all of us to celebrate the holiday season.
In Hawaii, many of the Christmas and holiday events begin on Thanksgiving weekend and some of the state's most popular events take place on the weekend that begins on Friday evening, November 30.
