Oahu Live Webcams
Ala Moana Surf CamFrom Surfline/Wavetrak, Inc. a view of the Ala Moana surf on the South Shore of Oʻahu.
Banzai Pipeline Surf Cam
From Surfline/Wavetrak, Inc. a view of the world famous surf reef break located off Ehukai Beach Park in Pupukea on Oʻahu's North Shore. Pipeline is notorious and famous for its huge waves breaking in shallow water just above its sharp and cavernous reef forming large, hollow and thick curls of water (a.k.a., tubes or barrels) that surfers can surf inside of and hopefully escape from using expert tube riding abilities.
Black Point/Diamond Head Surf Cam
From Surfline/Wavetrak, Inc. a view of the Black Point/Diamond Head surfing area located on Oʻahu's south shore.
Honolulu's Traffic Camera System
The camera system currently includes well over a hundred cameras. Views are available of traffic on all freeways as well as in the Kahala/Hawaii Kai Area, Nimitz to South King Street Area, Pearl City/Pearl Harbor Area, South Kapiolani to Kokohead Area, Salt Lake Area and West Oʻahu Area.
Starwood Hawaii Live Webcams
Starwood Hotels and Resorts has four webcams on O'ahu:
Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort
Sheraton Waikiki BeachCam
Sheraton Waikiki SkyCam
The Royal Hawaiian
All three cameras are adjustable by you and make for some great fun.
Sunset Beach Surf Cam
From Surfline/Wavetrak, Inc. a view of Sunset Beach on Oʻahu's North Shore. Sunset Beach is known for big wave surfing during the winter season. The original Hawaiian name for this place is Paumalu. It is home to the Duke Kahanamoku Classic surfing competition, the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing competition, and is occasionally the site of the Quiksilver Big Wave Invitational.
Waikiki Aquarium Coral Research Cam
On April 20th, 2003 the Aquarium placed a branch of coral in front of their research camera. If it is daytime in Hawaii you should see a brown branching coral with numerous bumps. These bumps represent a small section of skeleton with an individual polyp. If you look closely you may just be able to see a few whitish tentacles peaking out from the tip of the bump. As the coral grows, these bumps will grow longer and may split into two more bumps - at least that is what we think will happen.
Waikiki Aquarium Shark Cam
Peer into the shark tank of the Waikiki Aquarium. Only a few of Hawaii's two dozen species of sharks are featured in this 35,000 gallon exhibit along with other hunters on the reef. The blacktip reef shark is easily recognized - look for the jet-black marking on the tip of the fin on its back. The blacktip reef shark is relatively small reaching a maximum length of only 6'.
Waimea Bay Surf Cam
From Surfline/Wavetrak, Inc. a view of Waimea Bay, located east of Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oʻahu at the mouth of the Waimea River. In winter, Waimea and other North Shore locations such as Pipeline and Sunset Beach host a number of surfing contests because of the large waves found here. These waves are created by winter storms in the North Pacific, and their arrival on Oʻahu's North Shore are typically forecast accurately several days in advance. In summer, Waimea typically has clear and calm water.
