Hawaii’s premier cruise ship, the 1,500-passenger Star of Honolulu, features Winter’s freshest and finest ingredients on its Five Star Sunset Dinner Cruise.

Executive Chef Eric Omick incorporates the best ingredients from around the world in an innovative yet classic French style seven-course feast. At the exclusive Captain’s Welcome Reception held on the 60-foot high top deck, Five Star guests sample a selection of Winter Canapés served butler style, and a champagne toast to kick off the evening. Once seated in the lavish art-deco Super Nova Room, a smooth Butternut Squash Bisque is presented, with Foie Gras and Apple layers. Then, a gourmet Waimanalo Green Salad is served, featuring a Pancetta-Wrapped Australian Prawn, Beet Tuile Cookie, and tantalizing Beet and Tarragon Vinaigrette Dressing.

Next, diners enjoy Poached Live Maine Lobster accompanied by Homemade Morel and Porcine Mushroom Ravioli, Sevruga Caviar, and Riesling Beurre Blanc Sauce. To dazzle and cleanse the palate, savor the extraordinary burst of flavor in the Blood Orange Sorbet Intermezzo.

The succulent main course showcases a top grade of meat, Prime Aged Beef Tenderloin, premium aged and highly marbled for intense flavor and made to melt in your mouth. This selection is complemented by Potato Puree, Winter Ragout of Root Vegetables, and Pinot Noir Demi Glace Sauce.

The evening comes to a grand finale with a Fallen Vanilla Souffle and Marsala Zuppa Inglese, surrounded by Candied Pecan Petit Fours, Madagascar Vanilla Bean Anglaise and a Pulled Sugar Swirl.

On the Star of Honolulu’s Five Star Sunset Dinner Cruise, the ambiance is as memorable as the food. Live soft jazz music by Honolulu’s top musicians creates a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere. The Jazz trio is led by alternating vocalists Rachel Asebido and Jeanette Trevias, two of Hawaii’s best performers. Throughout the voyage, wrap-around windows offer stellar sunset and coastline views.

The Five Star Sunset Dinner Cruise is offered nightly, departing from Pier 8 at Aloha Tower Marketplace at 5:30 p.m. All-inclusive exclusive limousine transportation from Waikiki, VIP welcome, dinner, live jazz show, super premium cocktails and after dinner cart drink service, is $199 per person. Special Kama’aina and military rates are available with valid Hawaii I.D.
