As the first resort hotel built on Waikiki Beach in 1901, the Sheraton Moana Surfrider’s stunning architectural design, open-air lobby and sweeping views of Waikiki Beach leave a lasting impression on all who visit. A wide range of activities is available for guests. 

Indoor activities include a free guided walking tour of the hotel that allows guests to hear the brilliant story behind "The First Lady of Waikiki." On the second floor of the Banyan Wing there is a historical room filled with memorabilia documenting the hotel’s colorful history including a millennium time capsule inducted at the Moana’s 100th anniversary celebration in March 2001. 

Popular outdoor activities include an outrigger canoe ride with the local beach boys or surfing lessons on the gentle waves of Waikiki. After spending a day of fun, complete the evening by enjoying the sounds of local Hawaiian musicians in the Banyan Court.
