Guide Review
Survivor Season One: The Greatest and Most Outrageous Moments
Travel back to unspoiled Pilau Tiga and relive the unforgettable first season of Survivor. This collector's DVD featuring never-before-seen footage that couldn't be shown on television, begins with the arrival of 16 strangers to the South China Sea and follows the castaways' 39-day quest for that $1,000,000 payday.

If you want to see something other than what you saw on TV, don't bother with the VHS version. It does not contain the special footage that is available only on the DVD.

As with most series, the first season is often the best and such is the case with Survivor. The original 16 knew little about the need for alliances until it was too late. It was survival of the fittest or more accurately, the most conniving.
