Our tour took us from the dry Western area of Molokai and the lands of the Molokai Ranch over to the grounds of the Kaluakoi Hotel and Golf Club.

We then stopped at Papohaku Beach, one of the world's longest beaches. For three miles we saw no one on the beach. If you want a private, secluded and beautiful beach, Papohaku is for you.
From Papohaku we made our way back to Central Molokai to the main town of Molokai - Kaunakakai. We stopped by the Molokai Shores Condominium where we had a wonderful chat with one of the groundskeepers. We then proceeded on to the second of the two hotels on Molokai, the lovely Hotel Molokai which is without question the most Hawaiian of the hotels.
Leaving Kaunakakai, we traveled to East Molokai to visit the St. Joseph's Church (1876) and the Father Damien Statue.

This church was built by Father Damien.
By this point it was lunch time. We decided to stop by the Molokai Drive Inn where both Eileen and I had plate lunches with Timmy.
