Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays Press Release
Pleasant Holidays and Starwood Offer Free Nights on Secluded Molokai

Guests of Pleasant Holidays who are looking for a thoroughly unique Hawaii getaway should take advantage of this offering from Pleasant and Starwood’s Sheraton Molokai Lodge & Beach Village. Guests who travel now through Dec. 20, 2002, and stay in deluxe accommodations at the Lodge, or Kaupoa Garden accommodations at the Beach Village, will receive the third night free. A three night minimum stay is required.

Guests who stay at the 22-room Lodge receive all the amenities of a first-class hotel in a rustic setting. The Lodge evokes the grand plantation era of 20’s and 30’s Old Hawaii, featuring a Great Room, fine dining room, game room and lounge, and wrap-around verandas with panoramic views. Guests who opt for Kaupoa Beach accommodations experience the best in outdoor living, with fully furnished canvas bungalows ideal for families and romantic couples.

The 54,000 acre Starwood Hotels & Resorts property offers a unique way to experience a Hawaii most people aren’t aware of. On Molokai, guests can experience the lifestyle of the Hawaiian cowboy, explore tidepools and take walks on a secluded beach; learn wall climbing, ropes and archery, go kayaking and mountain biking, and learn about ancient Hawaiian fishponds.

Three-night, land-only holidays start at $413 per person, double occupancy, reflecting a savings of $350 per room. Included in Pleasant’s travel package are accommodations, daily Dollar Rent A Car, fresh flower lei greeting, all hotel and car rental taxes, and more.

Additional room nights and nationwide airfares – including up to 50% off first class – are also available. Pleasant’s guests who fly to Oahu and Maui on Pleasant Holidays/American Trans Air’s new, non-stop Boeing 757-300 aircraft will enjoy free headsets, a complimentary “Island Breeze” cocktail, hot meals, and wider, all-leather seats.

Pleasant Holidays also protects its customers’ investment with its own customer protection plan. The Pleasant Holidays Assurance Plan is backed by the financial strength of the company, as well as independently secured by a $5 million bond with Zurich North America Company, a member of the Zurich Financial Services Group. Coverage provided exceeds that required by the California Sellers of Travel law or the USTOA.

Pleasant Holidays, established in 1959 and working through travel agencies nationwide, offers individual and group vacation travelers a broad range of value-added, customized Holiday packages featuring more than 400 leading hotels, 30 airlines, and car rental options in such major destinations as Hawaii, Mexico, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Asia.
