Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays Press Release
Pleasant Holidays and Castle Resorts Offer Free Nights and More in Hawaii

Pleasant Holidays and Castle Resorts & Hotels Hawaii have partnered for a six-day holiday that features a free night, plus room upgrades, on Oahu and Maui. The holiday is good for travel through December 18, 2002, and for excellent value, is one of Pleasant's best fall travel offerings to the Islands.

On Oahu, the Castle property is the Waikiki Terrace Hotel. The 5th night is free, and the room upgrade is from mountain view to partial ocean view.  The Waikiki Terrace is one of Waikiki’s most popular boutique hotels, and is just a short walk away from Waikiki Beach. A great selection of restaurants and shops are right in the neighborhood.  Five-night, land-only holidays start at $223 per person, double occupancy, reflecting a savings of $95 per room.

On Maui, the Castle property is the Kamaole Sands. The 5th night is free, and the room upgrade is from 1-bedroom limited view to 1-bedroom garden view. The Kamaole Sands is perfectly located to experience the best that Maui has to offer. The 15-acre tropical resort, located on Maui’s sunny western coast, provides a warm, relaxed vacation setting, filled with fish ponds and flower blossoms, gardens and waterfalls. Five-night, land-only holidays start at $371 per person, double occupancy, reflecting a savings of $140 per room.

Included in Pleasant’s travel package are accommodations, fresh flower lei greeting, round trip hotel/airport transfers in Waikiki, or daily Dollar Rent A Car on Maui, all hotel and car rental taxes, and more.

Additional savings, via Pleasant’s exclusive ValuPak, are also in effect for customers who travel August 26 through December 23, 2002. Available to Pleasant’s customers for all new bookings, the ValuPak offers two for one savings worth over $325 on a variety of tours and dinner shows throughout Hawaii. Also available: Free parking for five days at The Parking Spot, near LAX, and at Thrifty Airport Parking in Portland and Seattle.

Extra room nights and nationwide airfares – including up to 50% off first class – are also available. Pleasant’s guests who fly to Oahu and Maui on Pleasant Holidays/American Trans Air’s new, non-stop Boeing 757-300 aircraft will enjoy free movies, a complimentary “Island Breeze” cocktail, hot meals, greater overhead storage space, and wider, all-leather seats.

Pleasant Holidays also protects its customers’ investment with its own customer protection plan. The Pleasant Holidays Assurance Plan is backed by the financial strength of the company, as well as independently secured by a $5 million bond with Zurich North America Company, a member of the Zurich Financial Services Group. Coverage provided exceeds that required by the California Sellers of Travel law or the USTOA.
