After more than $19 million, all 759 guest rooms at the elegant Westin Maui have an all-new look.  The rooms in both the Ocean and Beach Towers now feature a smart, sophisticated, Polynesian look.

As of December, 2001, all rooms received new soft goods and case goods - including carpet, drapes, wallpaper and bedspreads.  Additionally, rooms have been outfitted with new 27" televisions, dual-line telephones, mini-bars, tables, chairs nightstands, armoires and headboards.  All of the upgrades perfectly complement The Westin's signature Heavenly Bed, and now, the Heavenly Bath.  Guest room corridors also received new carpeting and wall covering.

"We are extremely proud and excited about what the renovations mean to us and more importantly - our guests," said general manager Craig Anderson.  "With these upgrades, we have no doubt our guests will enjoy the best comfort and style that guests come to expect at Westin, coupled with natural beauty and activities offered by one of the world's top destinations, Maui Ka'anapali."

To top it all off, all rooms in 2001 were outfitted with The Westin's signature Heavenly Bath.  The Heavenly Bath offers a dual-headed shower that provides stronger water pressure for a more luxurious shower.  Additionally, each shower features a curved curtain rod that provides eight additional inches of elbowroom, a Brazilian combed cotton bath sheet, and custom-designed velour bathrobes.

The Heavenly Bath is a perfect complement to The Westin's own Heavenly Bed.  Introduced in 1999, it is the centerpiece of guest comforts at all Westin resorts.  Designed with the world's finest linen, the all-white, plush bed consists of a custom designed Simmons Beauty-rest pillow-top mattress set with 900 individual coils; a cozy down blanket; three crisp sheets ranging from 180 to 250 thread count; a comforter and duvet; and five, goose down/goose feather pillows.  It promises to be the ultimate slumber party.  With its added comfort and safety features, Heavenly Cribs are available for even the littlest guests.

Located on 12 oceanfront acres directly on Ka'aanapali Beach, The Westin Maui is nestled between the shimmering Pacific Ocean and verdant Kahalawai.  Each of the 758 guest rooms including 28 suites and features Westin's Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Shower.  The property features strolling gardens, meandering streams, breathtaking 15-20-foot waterfalls, exotic wildlife, and an 85,000 square foot aquatic playground.  For reservations, call The Westin Maui toll-free at (888) 625-4949, Westin Hotels & resorts at (800)-WESTIN-1, your travel counselor or visit www.westinmaui.com.
