Beginning Tuesday, April 23, Edgy Lees documentary film, WaikikiIn
the Wake of Dreams, will be shown twice a week at the Sheraton
Princess Kaiulani Hotel. The film
will be shown at 8 p.m. every Tuesday
and Thursday in the hotels second floor Ainahau Showroom.
The film takes a rare historical look at the land and the people who call Waikiki home and explores their contribution to American culture. WaikikiIn the Wake of Dreams has received national acclaim, including the Best Cinematography award in the documentary film category at the 2002 New York International Film & Video Festival and an Intercom Gold Plaque at the 2001 Chicago International Film Festival.
