The Festival's final event was the closing night's dinner appropriately called The Big Taste. Held at the Hilton Waikoloa Village's Lagoon Lanai and Grand Promenade the event included all of the Festival's chefs and wine experts featuring dozens of recipes ranging from appetizers and entrees to luscious deserts.

This event was attended by hundreds of hungry guests and was very crowded indeed. With a little patience and some good skills at balancing plate and a wine glass, no guest left the evening unsatisfied or with any room in his or her stomach.

Live entertainment was provided throughout the evening - sometimes a bit too loud to allow for easy conversation, however.
