King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, 75-5660 Palani Road - .26 miles northwest:

Located in Kailua Village near the cruise pier, the 460-room King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel stands on the grounds where King Kamehameha once resided in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Kona Seaside Hotel 75-5646 Palani Road - .37 miles northeast:

The Kona Seaside Hotel is just a short walk from shops, restaurants, Hawaiian entertainment and ocean activities. This 225 room hotel has recently been renovated. Each room a king or two double beds, color cable TV, mini-refrigerator, air conditioning, ceiling fan, clock radio and full bath, There are two fresh water outdoor pools, laundry and on-site restaurant. Uncle Billy's Kona Bay Hotel, 75-5739 Alii Drive - across the street:

Located in Kailua Village across from the Hulihee Palace, Uncle Billy's Kona Bay Hotel is just two blocks from the beach and convenient to all downtown shopping areas. Somewhat aged, yet usually clean, Uncle Billy's offers affordable rooms with basic amenities including an outdoor pool, laundry room, air conditioning, cable TVs and daily maid service.
