  • Superb scenery and photo opportunities with Sunset on the summit

  • Delicious, hearty meal choices served on the Onizuka Visitors Center's lanai
  • 11" Celestron CPC 1100 telescopes (90% more powerful than 8" scopes carried by other companies on Mauna Kea)
  • Stargazing program with our powerful telescope (weather permitting)

Menu Choices:

  • Kho Chu Jang glazed Beef ribs (spicy sweet) Jasmine rice and glazed carrots served hot.
  • Teriyaki glazed Chicken with a special pineapple relish, Jasmine rice and glazed carrots served hot.
  • Tofu/ spinach wrap sandwich with cranberry tabouleh salad and glazed carrots Served cold. This can be made vegan upon request.

All items served with a big homemade chocolate brownie.

Bring your own beverages (no alcohol). Water and other beverages are available at the Visitors Center.

Cost:

The 2010 Price is $192.00 plus tax ($200) which includes the Office of Mauna Kea Management (OMKM)user fee. An optional gratuity of $5-10 per person for good service is customary in Hawaii and is very much appreciated by your guide. Make your reservation online at least two weeks in advance and save 15%.
