  • 2011 Royal Court Investiture (Ka Ho'ola'a O Na Ali'i)
    3:00 p.m., Hilton Hawaiian Village – The 2011 king, queen, prince and princess take their place in the royal court. The Ali'i court members will receive the royal cloak, helmet, head feather lei and other symbols of their reign. Traditional chant and hula kahiko will highlight the event. Free admission.
  • Aloha Festivals 2011 Opening Ceremony
    5:30 p.m., Royal Hawaiian Center, Royal Grove – Traditional chant and hula mark the official beginning of the Aloha Festivals events on Oahu. The Aloha Festivals Royal Court will be introduced on the grounds of Royal Hawaiian Center’s Royal Grove. Free Admission.

  • 59th Annual Aloha Festivals Waikiki Ho'olaule'a
    7:00 p.m. – On Kalakaua Avenue between Lewers & Kapahulu Avenues. Celebrating its 59th year and the 2011 theme of Island Music, the largest block party will kick off with the arrival of the Royal Court. Multiple stages of entertainment, lots of food and lei vendors and hula crafters will be spread along 12 city blocks of the world famous Kalakaua Avenue. Free admission.

  • 65th Annual Aloha Festivals Floral Parade
    9:00 a.m. – From Ala Moana Park, along Kalakaua Avenue to Kapiolani Park - A colorful equestrian procession of female and male pau riders, extravagant floats with cascades of Hawaiian flowers, hula Halau and marching bands will brighten Kalakaua Avenue from Ala Moana Park to Kapiolani Park. This is a "must see" event! Free admission

  • 7th Annual Aloha Festivals Keiki Ho'olaule'a
    10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pearlridge Center Uptown & Downtown – Pearlridge will once again celebrate the Festival with a wide variety of free activities, demonstrations, arts & crafts and continuous stage performances. Free monorail ride and discounts from participating merchants are available with an Aloha Festivals Ribbon, Plus a special appearance by the 2011 Aloha Festivals Royal Court.   • 2nd Annual Taste of Helumoa Food & Wine Festival
    6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Royal Hawaiian Center Royal Grove. A benefit for Aloha Festivals, A Taste of Helumoa is a food and wine festival featuring 10 restaurants including Wolfgang's Steakhouse, Doraku Sushi, and Azure from The Royal Hawaiian Hotel A Luxury Collection Resort. Entertainment will be provided by vocalist Teresa Bright, a former winner of the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts top Female Vocalist of the Year award.
