When in Tahiti, if or when you ever tire of 24/7 relaxation, you can head out onto the lagoon of almost any island, from Moorea to Bora Bora, for a bit of sightseeing, snorkeling or even a major adrenaline-rush: shark and stingray feeding. Terrifying? Yes. Dangerous? Not if you follow your guide's simple instructions.
The sharks tend to keep a bit of a distance (well, at least a few feet), while a few playful rays will swim right up to you and your guide.
