Aston Hotels & Resorts, is a Hawaii-based management company that operates a diverse range of condominium resorts and hotels in Hawaii, with accommodations from hotel rooms and condominium suites, to villas and cottages that suit any lifestyle, taste or budget.

Based in Honolulu, Aston Hotels & Resorts offers more than 4,500 rooms at 26 properties on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii. Aston Hotels & Resorts is an operating segment of Interval Leisure Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: IILG), a leading global provider of membership and leisure services to the vacation industry.

It All Started in 1948:

It all began decades ago, when a shipwrecked sailor whose travels had brought him from France to the middle of the Pacific found love with a Hawaii girl. The two married and in 1948 opened a small 14-room, two-story walk-up hotel in Waikiki, the Royal Grove Hotel.

The company continued to grow and in 1968, a new management company was formed, the Hotel Corporation of the Pacific. in 1986 the company's name was changed to Aston Hotels & Resorts.

Aston First To Develop All-Suite Condominium Resort Hotels:

Aston was the first hotel management company in Hawaii to develop all-suite condominium resort hotels with the blending of two concepts: hotel services and spacious condominium accommodations for a combination of value and convenience.

ResortQuest Hawaii:

In August 2005, after a 57-year history as one of Hawaii's largest accommodation provider, Aston Hotels & Resorts Hawaii retired the name and rebranded as ResortQuest Hawaii. This was the culmination of a process that began in 1998 when Aston and 13 other hospitality companies across the United States merged to form ResortQuest.

In 2007, ResortQuest Hawaii, now separate from the mainland ResortQuest, became an operating segment of Interval Leisure Group, Inc.

Aston Hotels & Resorts is Reborn:

In January of 2009 the company announced that it was returning to its former well-recognized name of Aston Hotels & Resorts. The change came as the Hawaii-based management company celebrated its 61st year in the hospitality industry of Hawaii.
