Hawaii Videos

While a picture may speak a thousand words, there's nothing better than a video to capture what you can see and do on your Hawaii vacation.

Oahu Photos - Part 1

Aloha Tower As Seen From Honolulu Harbor

Oahu, Hawaii's Gathering Place, is the most populous of the Hawaiian Islands and hosts the most visitors. Oahu is home to Waikiki and historic Honolulu, but also the laid back North Shore which is home to some of the world's largest winter waves and the Polynesian Cultural Center, the beautiful Windward and Southeast Coasts.

Oahu Photos - Part 2

Here are some more of our photo galleries of Oahu including the major sites at Pearl Harbor and the always exciting Waikiki.

Big Island of Hawaii Photos

Waipio Valley, the Valley of Kings, Big Island of Hawaii

The Big Island of Hawaii is the only place where the earth grows every day of the year. The island features 11 of the 13 climate zones of the planet. You can ride horseback in the Waipio Valley with thousand foot cliffs and a black sand beach and then see the sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea where there may be snow on the ground. What a photographer's delight!

Kauai Photos

Na Pali Coast of Kauai

Kauai is Hawaii's Garden Island but it is also Hawaii's Island of Discovery. The natural beauty of the island is a photographer's dream. It is also a great island for outdoor activities such as ATV tours, helicopter tours, horseback riding, ziplines and zodiac water adventures.

Maui Photos

Hawaii's Humpback Whales

Photographers love Maui. The view into Haleakala's crater brings to mind the surface of the moon or Mars. The island's rugged North Shore and the Hana Highway offers some of Hawaii's best photo opportunities. The old Hawaii capital city of Lahaina is a history buff's delight. In winter nature photographers treasure the chance to photograph Hawaii's winter visitors, the humpback whales.

Specialty Photo Galleries

Everyone loves to see photos of the places to which the plan on visiting as well as places that they've visited before. I suppose that's why our photos of Hawaii are so popular. It's not hard taking photos of the most beautiful place on Earth.

Hawaiian Culture & History

Ever since I was About.com's Hawaiian Culture Guide, I've told readers and people I meet at travel shows that I really think that before you visit Hawaii, you take some time to learn about the culture, history and people of the islands.

Hawaii Foods and Recipes

It seems to take just one visit, but so many people travel to Hawaii, return home and then want to taste some of the great food of the islands once again. It seems that in almost every city, you can find someone holding their own Hawaiian luau. Check out these great Hawaiian recipes.

Hawaii Quizzes

So, with over 7000 pages on this site, how much do you really know about Hawaii? The answers to all of these quiz questions can be found right here, so before you take one of the quizzes, you better start reading!

Hawaiian Music

It used to be that when someone mentioned Hawaiian music the only name that came to mind was the great Don Ho. Well, Hawaiian music has really come into its own in the last 15 years with lots of artists hitting the World Music charts. There's even a Grammy Award now for the best Hawaiian music album.
