On 22,000 acres of land where sugar was once grown by the McBryde Sugar Company, the Kauai Coffee Company now grows 100% Kauai Coffee using five varieties of Arabica coffee beans: Yellow Catuai (Brazilian seed), Red Catuai (Brazilian seed), Typica (Guatemalan seed), Blue Mountain (Jamaican seed), and Mundo Novo (Central American seed).
The Kauai Coffee Company estate is the largest coffee farm in the United States.
Located approximately 17 miles from the Lihue airport just off Highway 50 in Kalaheo on Kauai's southwest side, the Kauai Coffee Company is a perfect stop on the way to or from Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park.
Kauai Coffee Company welcomes guests to their Visitor Center to sample their exclusive line of estate coffees, visit their well stocked gift shop and take a walking tour or video tour showing the entire coffee process from initial blossoming, through harvesting and processing, to the final roasting.
