Profile of the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & SpaThe Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa offers 22 oceanfront acres within the world-renowned luxury Wailea Resort destination. Situated on a low promontory, the resort hotel is nestled between two golden sand beaches. Meandering walking and jogging paths wind along the shoreline and grassy lawns dotted with palm trees. Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa also offers three championship golf courses, tennis and luxury shops and boutiques at nearby "The Shops at Wailea." Basic Facts: Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa Telephone: Web Site: $60 Million Renovation in Progress: All guestrooms, suites, spa and fitness center renovations will be completed Oct. 2006. Public area renovations will be completed Spring 2007 including new lobby flooring, front desk and water features, and a third level to the parking structure. In addition, a new "Serenity" pool with over water cabanas will be added to the resort's expansive oceanfront lawn area. Existing pools will be refurbished. Hula Moons Restaurant should reopen for Thanksgiving 2006 with a complete new design and menu. The New Guestroom Experience: All 546 guestrooms and Suites have been completely redesigned and refined with greater style, and innovation. Highlights of the guestroom are:
Fitness Center Expands, Relocates: Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa has renovated and relocated its fitness center to a 2,100 square foot facility on the hotels main lobby level. Complimentary to all registered hotel guests 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our fitness facility features all-new exercise equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent and upright cycles, adjustable bench and free weights, and various weight resistance machines. Mandara Spa (opening Mid-November 2006): The newly built Mandara Spa is located on the lobby level of the resort, overlooking the ocean, Molokini crater and the island of Kaho`olawe. The 10,000 square foot facility features eleven treatment rooms, some of which are Ocean view single treatment rooms and deluxe couples suites for facials, body treatments and massages. A welcoming relaxation area, steam room, lockers and showers will be privately located in the center of the spa; separated for men and women. The spa will also offer a full service salon with facilities for hair, make-up and nail services. Signature services such as Miracle Micro Therapy (Microdermabrasion) uses fine baking soda crystals to exfoliate the skin and diminish any unwanted coloring or markings; the Elemis Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap to ease muscle pain and detoxify and the new Elemis Urban Cleanse for Men is especially designed to address each mens skin type as required. The Y-SPA menu focuses on the needs of youths (16 - 18 years for spa treatments and 12 - 18 for salon services). With a parent in a deluxe spa suite, youths can enjoy the Acne Attack Facial to address teenage skin problems, Surfers Scrub as a perfect way to prepare for a tropical tan, and the Stylin Session and Magical Manicure to step out into perfection.
