Napili Kai Beach Resort has, from its beginning, maintained a philosophy of "No nickel-and-diming our guests." Parking is complimentary, there are no hidden charges or "resort fees," and many complimentary services and activities are offered to guests.
The resort offers hotel rooms, studios and suites, all with private lanais (patios). Studios and suites are equipped with kitchens. The majority of the accommodations feature ocean views and air conditioning (others are cooled by ceiling fans and tropical breezes). Amenities include daily maid service, complimentary parking, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, color cable TV, telephone with internet data port (hotel phone charges apply), voice mail, and many bathroom amenities.
The kitchens include refrigerator, ice maker, two or four-burner stove (some with ovens), microwave oven or microwave/convection oven, toaster and coffee maker. Some units have dishwashers.
In October 2004, upgrades to over one-third of the property’s kitchens and baths were completed. All bedroom and living areas were upgraded in 1999, and new bedcoverings were added in December 2004.
The beachfront Sea House Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering creative cuisine and spectacular sunsets. Live Hawaiian music is featured nightly.
The full-service Whale Watcher’s Bar is adjacent to the Sea House Restaurant.
The Sea Breeze Terrace offers casual beachfront outdoor dining as well as a pupu (appetizer) menu from 2 to 9 p.m.
The poolside Makai Hale, reserved exclusively for hotel guests (room charge only), offers snacks and coffee drinks.
Professional massage services, body treatments, facials and spa merchandise are available at Makai Massage and Bodywork, located on property at the resort.
A garden-view exercise room is available to guests on a complimentary basis from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, offering equipment for upper and lower body workouts.
Complimentary water aerobics classes are offered to guests each week.
The resort also offers a very large ocean view jacuzzi spa in a garden setting.
