There are so many Maui hotels and resorts to choose from. Deciding where to stay on Maui is a big decision. Should you stay in West Maui or choose a hotel or resort on Maui's southern shore? Maybe spend a night or two in Hana? All are great areas and where you stay in large part depends on where you plan on spending most of your time.
Here are some of my personal favorite places to stay on Maui. These are the places I know best, but that doesn't mean that your favorite is any less a great choice. That's why we have a section at the bottom of each page, so that you can share your favorite place to stay on Maui.
Aston Paki Maui
The Aston Paki Maui condominium resort has long been our home away from home on Maui. We have a friend who owns a rental condominium and it, like much of the entire resort, has recently been completely renovated.
A stay at Paki Maui is a real value. Not only do you get all of the conveniences of home with bedrooms, living and dining areas, but you also have a complete kitchen which allows you to save lots of money on food. The resort has a lovely oceanside grassy area with lounge chairs and a small pool.
An Expedia Local Expert concierge is located on site to help you plan your activities. If you stay at Paki Maui, be sure to get at least one dinner from the Honokowai Okazuya & Deli located right across the street.
