Donkey Beach is located 7/10 of a mile north of mile marker 11 on Highway 56 on the island of Kauai. It is not visible from the road.
Access to the beach is via a path through the Kealia Kai housing development. Look for the public parking area up a small hill from the roadside. (All beaches in Hawaii are public beaches.)
You can also reach the beach by means of the new Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal bike/hike path. Park at Kealia Beach and enjoy a beautiful 1/2 walk north along the path to Donkey Beach at Kuna Bay.
Donkey Beach was known as one of Kauai's best nude beaches, however, the Kealia Kai developer has hired security guards to patrol the area and enforce a no nudity policy.
