Ala Moana Center
In December 2010, Ala Moana Center, the world’s largest outdoor shopping center, welcomed two new merchants – Gilly Hicks and Hula Lehua. Australian-based Gilly Hicks, owned and operated by Abercrombie, is known for its wide variety of youthful, comfortable and flirty loungewear and lingerie. Its Ala Moana Center location is the first in Hawaii. Hula Lehua specializes in Hawaii-themed original designs, offering shoppers high-quality products such as Hula supplies, apparel, household items, and a variety of special island gifts.
Outrigger Reef on the Beach
Two new retail stores opened at Outrigger Reef on the Beach in December 2010. Skye’s Koa & Ukulele features ukulele, as well as Koa products and other Hawaiian-themed gifts. Martin & MacArthur offers gifts, home accessories, local organic skincare and fragrance items, and its exclusive line of Martin & MacArthur hardwood watches.
Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach
Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach recently welcomed four new stores. Popular Hawaiian jeweler, Na Hoku, features its traditional and original jewelry collections. Freaky Tiki Tropical Optical sells luxury eyewear, including Maui Jim, Oakley, Von Zipper, Prada, Versace, Ray Ban, and more. Pele’s Signature offers uniquely designed and handcrafted pens made from local and exotic woods. Little People Hawaii features Hawaiian collectable dolls, children’s aloha shirts and dresses, Hawaiian baby items, and Hawaiian children’s books.
Royal Hawaiian Center
Royal Hawaiian Center has recently welcomed three new stores to its more than 100 shops and restaurants. Aloha Aina Boutique offers coastal shabby chic décor; contemporary, casual apparel and accessories by independent designers; and locally made, handmade products. Honolulu Home Collection features a variety of home décor products, including designer picture frames and crystal accessories, clocks, porcelain cups and saucers, plates, figurines, European dolls, and Hawaiian quilts. International apparel and accessory retailer Forever 21 opened a tri-level, Flagship location at Royal Hawaiian Center in December. The store is the largest Forever 21 in Hawaii.
