- Bike Hawaii Tours is now offering a "Rainforest to Reef Adventure," which combines the scenic backdrop of the lush Hakipu'u Valley, the majestic volcanic Ko'olau Mountain ridge and the tranquil cobalt and turquoise ocean waters of Kane'ohe Bay on Oahu's windward side.
The adventure includes a scenic hike above Hakipuu Valley followed by a tranquil kayak tour.
- Bishop Museum is holding a lunar eclipse viewing party for the public August 27 from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Admission is $3 and guests will have the opportunity to listen to lecturers from University of Hawaii's Astronomy Department and use telescopes to view the rare event.
The museum will also be participating in Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day on September 29, granting free admission to promote awareness of the nation's cultural institutions.
- Hawaii's Plantation Village recently unveiled its new Hawaii's Historical Tours," a weekly sightseeing tour targeting visitors interested in learning and experiencing unique cultural aspects of Hawaii's history.
Highlights of the tour include visits to historic Honolulu landmarks and the Hawaiian Railway Society in Ewa.
The tour ends with the Paradise Cove Luau where guests enjoy Hawaiian activities, feasting and entertainment.
- Island Adventure Golf is Hawai's newest miniature golf course attraction located at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.
The 18-hole high-end course features an island theme, complete with a sandy beach, ocean hazard, waterfall, and tropical rainforest zone. It also offers the perfect putting venue for the more serious golfer.
- New spa treatments are available at The Kahala's Spa Suites, using products from Jamu and Hawaiian Rainforest Naturals. Rituals at the Spa Suites consist of 'Oli'oli (joyous, blissful), Kala Ko'iko'i (stress release), and the Javanese Lulur (romance ritual), and include the use of Hawaiian ingredients such as lehua honey, mamaki mud, and 'awa, a Polynesian ceremonial root.

- Oahu Ghost Tours is launching two new tours for thrill seekers as well as for those who are interested in Hawaiian history and legends.
"Orbs of Oahu" will take place in the dark of the night and passengers will visit the legendary sites where ghosts are said to linger.

- Master Storyteller Jeff Gere is hosting the 5th annual Wild Dolphin Foundation "Ghost Ship" fund raiser, in conjunction with Wild Side Specialty Tours, on October 31.
Three hours of true, local, supernatural tales rooted in Hawaiian culture and other chilling stories, will mix humor with horror - on the water - in the dark. Guests will set sail into the sunset at 5:30 p.m. for three hours of "chicken skin" goose-bump experiences, non-alcoholic drinks (BYO witch's brew), and heavy pupus.
