- Ala Moana Center's highly anticipated multi-million dollar retail expansion continues on track it adds another 300,000 square feet of retail to the mall expanding it to approximately 300 stores and 2.1 million square feet of retail by Spring 2008.
Hawaii's first full-line Nordstrom and 30 new merchants on a two-level retail concourse will be added to Ala Moana Center's lineup of stores.
A new 800-stall parking garage with a handful of new street-side stores will also be featured along Kapiolani Boulevard. Grand opening festivities are slated for March 7, 2008.
- Ala Moana Center, Hawaii's largest shopping destination, recently announced that it has launched four new shopping activity packages for vacationers.
The shopping activity packages, which include Shop & Shuttle; Shop, Dine & Shuttle; Shop, Beauty and Shuttle; and Shop, Spa & Shuttle, are geared to make traveler's visits to the islands more enjoyable with a number of value-added offers and personalized experiences.
- KoAloha Ukulele has recently renovated its facilities, expanding the workshop and showrooms areas more than 2,000 square feet.
Beginning in early July, guests who ride the Waikiki Redline Trolley's first tour of the day will receive a free tour of KoAloha for a closer look at the Hawaiian tradition of quality-handcrafted ukulele.
