- Aqua Hotels & Resorts recently announced that renovations spending at its Waikiki properties will top $32 million this year with work done by many local contractors and companies. Renovations include upgrading and refurbishing the Aqua Aloha Surf, Aqua Palms & Spa, Aqua Continental, Aqua Coral Reef, and Ocean Tower Hotel at Waikiki Beach.
- The Halekulani hotel is set to unveil its "Halekulani Living" Series. Designed to accentuate guests' every interest and cultural desire, the series promises to enrich lifestyles with exclusive monthly events that promote luxury; beauty, health and wellness; culinary escapes; masterful works of art, music and literature. - Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa recently opened its Ocean Crystal Chapel. The first freestanding resort chapel in Waikiki was completed after nine months of construction and six million dollars of investment and now offers wedding packages to guests through Best Bridal Hawaii.Compare Prices
- Outrigger Reef on the Beach has introduced Na Alii ("Hawaii’s Royalty"), a new, free activity for hotel guests in which master Hawaiian storyteller Woody Fern leads participants on a two-hour walking tour of Waikiki, sharing stories and information about the area’s history and cultural points of interests. - The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach has introduced "Hawaii Orchids Display," a new workshop featuring nationally recognized orchid grower, Patrick O'Day.
