Cultural Events Planned For Summer/Fall
Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach and Outrigger Reef on the Beach have planned a series of cultural activities and events for this summer and fall, many of which were developed in collaboration with Hawaii’s most knowledgeable cultural masters and are available to hotel guests for free.Events coming up include a Hawaiian quilt display by master design John Serrao; Flavors of the Reef, showcasing Hawaii’s diverse multi-ethnic heritage; Kawehewehe Aloha, spotlighting Hawaiian healing and wellness; Ukulele Jam featuring professional musician Bryan Tolentino; Hawaiian Slack Key Workshop with two-time Grammy Award nominee Ledward Kaapana; and the Duke Kahanamoku Birthday Celebration in honor of Hawaii’s legendary surfer.
