Unlike any other resort in Hawaii, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is really a world unto itself. It's a huge resort. In fact, it's the largest resort in Hawaii and the largest in the world outside of Las Vegas.
While that size can, at first, seem a bit imposing, most guests quickly learn, as I did several years ago, that initial impressions can be so totally wrong. The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort quickly became and remains one of my favorite resorts anywhere.
Even when I'm not staying at the resort, on one of my annual visits to Oahu, I find myself drawn to the property whether it's to shop, enjoy their luau or one of the resorts fine restaurants, or just to wander the beautiful grounds.
