Sheraton Waikiki is pleased to announce a wonderful summer addition, "Luau on Waikiki Beach," the only Wednesday night luau in Waikiki. The "Luau on Waikiki Beach" runs now through August 25, 2004.

The festivities will begin a fresh flower lei greeting, cocktails and mai tais on the beautiful oceanfront lawn on Waikiki Beach. The Diamond Head Lawn is a classic setting for a Hawaiian luau feast reminiscent of celebrations on the beach years past with the majestic Diamond Head in the background. Entertainment for the evening is a spectacular extravaganza featuring the songs and dances of Polynesia all starting at 6 pm.

The luau buffet includes kalua pig (Hawaiian style roast pork), mahi mahi, lau lau (steamed Poynesian spinach with pork and fish), chicken long rice, teriyaki steak, fried rice and baked sweet potato, fresh pineapple, sliced fresh fruit, tossed salad, namasu (pickled cucumber), bean salad, poi, lomi lomi salmon, seafood salad, haupia (coconut pudding), coconut cake, pineapple chiffon cake, guava chiffon cake, banana bread and carrot cake.

Prices are $81.00 inclusive for adults and $48.00 inclusive for children (ages 5 to 12).
