The theme of the 2005 Lei Day Celebration in Kapiolani Park was Na Waiho'olu'u o a Lei (The Colors Of The Leis). The day including sales of food, lei & craft sales along Monsarrat Avenue, a concert by the Royal Hawaiian Band at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand, the investiture of 2005 Lei Queen, Flo Ku'uleilani Fernandez and her court, hâlau hula performances, and the exhibition of leis entered into the 2005 Lei Competition.
