When visitor arrivals go down, Hawaii's hotels and resorts offer more and better deals. The closer you are to your departure date the more deals you're likely to find. Keep in mind, hotels and resorts have one goal and one goal only. Fill those rooms.
Almost all of the major hotels and resorts in Hawaii are offering free nights. Some are offering two free nights. This means that if you book your stay for a minimum number of nights you get one or two additional nights free.
A number of hotels and resorts are also offering additional freebies such as free breakfasts or dining credits, children eat free, free rental car and free parking.
These can quickly add up to hundreds of dollars in savings.
