As we walked I noticed a number of restaurants: Ruby Tuesday, California Pizza Kitchen and Bubba Gump Shrimp Company to name a few. Just this month, Ala Moana Center has announced that four new restaurants will be added including Romano's Macaroni Grill, Islands Fine Burgers and Drinks, and Japanese buffet, Gyoza No Ohsho. All of these restaurants offer moderately priced lunches and dinners - none of which were previously available at Ala Moana.
Not to settle for just mid-range restaurants, Ala Moana also offers two very upscale dining options: Longhi's and Morton's The Steakhouse.
Longhi's has long been a favorite dining location in Lahaina and Wailea on Maui. This location at the Ala Moana Center is their first and only location on Oahu. It is more spacious than their Lahaina location and offers great views of the sunset over Ala Moana Beach Park. Longhi's has won numerous awards for its outstanding food, extensive wine list and excellent service. We stopped by for drinks and pupus and to continue our discussion about the Ala Moana Shopping Center.
We ate dinner at Morton's. This is a very upscale, and frankly, expensive restaurant, but one that has a superb reputation for fine food especially their steaks. Service is impeccable. You won't find better food anywhere on Oahu, especially if you love good steak.
