The intimate Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa, opened in 2002 and located on 7.5 landscaped lagoon-front acres on mountainous Moorea, features 28 Overwater Bungalows among a total of 94 accommodations.
The resort's overwater bungalows, while not as large as some of the islands' newer offerings, are spread over a shallow lagoon area in two groupings and are popular with honeymooners.
