This Balsamic Martini recipe from the InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa in Tahiti is easy to make and delicious.

It may sound more like a salad than a tropical cocktail, but this red-hued frozen drink (hint: it's made with strawberries) served by the InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa hits the sweet spot. Here's how to make it and enjoy it at home:

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Yield: 1 Frozen Martini Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/3 ounces of vodka
  • 2 and ¾ ounces of strawberry puree
  • 1/3 of an ounce of balsamic vinegar
  • 2/3 of an ounce of Martini dry or dry vermouth

Preparation:

In a blender (or mixer), half fill with ice.

Add the vodka, Martini dry, strawberry purée and the balsamic vinegar.

Mix all the ingredients into a frozen cocktail (20 seconds).

Pour into a Margarita glass.

Decorate at your choice.
