Hawaii offers visitors a virtually endless selection of activities. I'm always disappointed when I hear about visitors who spend all of their time at their hotel or resort, lounge by the pool or lay on the beach and never get out and experience all of what Hawaii has to offer.
There are activity companies that offer island land tours by bus or van, food tours, movie tours and photo tours. Horseback riding is a great way to explore some of scenic areas of Hawaii. There are companies that offer helicopter or airplane tours and companies that offer ocean activities such as surfing lessons, catamaran sails, parasailing, scuba and snorkeling. There are some fantastic eco-tourism operators and the latest and fastest growing activity ziplines.
From now until February 15, 2012, we're accepting nominations for your favorite activity company in Hawaii. On February 22, 2012, the finalists will be announced and the voting will begin for the winner, which will be announced on March 30, 2012.
With that in mind, whether you're a visitor to Hawaii or a resident of Hawaii, we'd like to know your choice for favorite activity company in Hawaii. You can nominate up to three (3) companies, but you only need to nominate one.
