Favorite Hawaii Hotel/Resort Companies

Hawaii has hundreds of hotels, condominium hotels, and resorts, not to mention bed & breakfasts and vacation rentals. There are lodging choices to accommodate almost every budget and number of amenities offered. Contrary to popular opinion, a vacation in Hawaii can be affordable for most vacationers.

There are many hotel/resort companies that own or manage properties in Hawaii. Most are familiar to first-time visitors, since they operate properties throughout the world. A few are totally unique to Hawaii and other islands in the Pacific.

Some, but not all, of the these companies are Aqua Hotels & Resorts, Aston Hotels & Resorts, Castle Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Halekulani Corp., Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Regency Hotels, Marriott, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Ohana Hotels & Resorts, Prince Resorts, The Ritz Carlton, Starwood which includes Sheraton, Westin, Luxury Collection and St. Regis) and most recently Disney.

From now until February 15, 2012, we're accepting nominations for your favorite hotel/resort company in Hawaii. On February 22, 2012, the finalists will be announced and the voting will begin for the winner, which will be announced on March 30, 2012.

With that in mind, whether you're a visitor to Hawaii or a resident of Hawaii, we'd like to know your choice for favorite hotel/resort company in Hawaii. You can nominate up to three (3) companies, but you only need to nominate one.

If you're not a Facebook or About.com member and still want to submit your nominations, you can email me your nominations directly at gohawaii.guide@about.com. Be sure to tell me briefly why you like the hotel/resort company or companies that you're nominating.

Nominations are closed. We're sorry but we're not accepting new nominations.
