A BargainMy Review
The newly renovated King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel is BACK! Everything from the guest rooms to the lobby and public areas have been re-done to perfection. The oceanfront rooms overlook Kailua Bay, Kamakahonu and Ahuena Heiau. Kona Boys beach shack offers snorkel gear, SUP boards, and kayaks. It's great to have Kona's landmark hotel back up to par. The restaurants too are new and improved, and happy hour at Billfish Bar is a tasty treat (try the fish and chips or kalua pork quesadillas, mmm!) Previous guests are going to love the upgrades, and new guests will love discovering Kailua and all it has to offer from "base" at the King Kam. King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel is Kailua's hot spot, and headquarters to the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament, the Ironman triathlon, the Queen Liliuokalani Canoe Races, the Kona Brew Festival and many other annual and popular events. Can't wait to go back!
